“Newsmakers? Did you have a female ancestor who made the news? Why? Was she famous or notorious? Did she appear in the social column?”

Other than obituaries not many of my female ancestors have made the news. Sabra Cather made the social column a few times when she left and returned from visiting relatives and won a prize in an art contest.
